Child & Family Support

How do I help children & families

I help parents and neurodivergent children ages 3–7 better understand, support, and advocate for their child across home and school. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, collaborative, and practical: together, we explore your child’s sensory profile, communication style, support needs, strengths, and stress responses so that the adults around them can respond with more clarity and compassion.

I support families with early school planning, IEP preparation, parent-child strategies, custom visual resources, and self-advocacy tools that help children communicate their needs in developmentally appropriate ways. I am especially passionate about supporting children who may fall through the cracks, including autistic and ADHD children with subtle or atypical presentations, PDA-profile children, and children who are not yet diagnosed but still need understanding, accommodations, and support.

Structure of Therapy

I like to visit homes and schools to get a sense of a the child’s full context and needs. I also invite children to meet me in a therapy bus for play therapy and to get to know the child in a playful setting.

I use combinations of IFS therapy, play therapy, art therapy, and sand tray to learn about a child’s inner world. In separate visits I meet with parents to discuss straggles for supporting their child at home and school.
